A Sensory Culinary Experience

One or Three Days of exposing your senses to flowers, fruits, herbs, birds, bees, vegetables, fish,  meat . . .

Plus all the sun, sea and sand of our Greek isle

Greek Farmhouse Cooking -- Eddy Style

During this cooking workshop you not only learn a new style of Greek cuisine, you experience the more traditional, natural way of gathering and preparing local products.

Typical Day’s schedule:  In Eddy's own words

8:00 AM - We will go to local farmers, buy fish from fishermen and also learn how to shop in the local stores.
11:00 AM - We will go in my safari jeep into the mountains of Paros to find local herbs, vegetables and also enjoy the beautiful surroundings and views.
5:00 PM - Start to cook our meals.
8:00 PM - Eat our delicious dinner enjoying the beautiful view and discuss the meal of that day, plus making plans for the next day's recipes...
Note: My plan is that we will break down into small groups. Each group will be doing something, but not all will be doing the same thing at the same time. However, everyone WILL get the experience of shopping, meeting local farmers, fishermen and store owners, jeep safari-ing, cooking and enjoying the island of Paros.

We at Paros Paradise have added accommodation, transportation and two additional meals to Eddy's classes to make a complete workshop package, including meet and greet at the port.  Includes a bonus tasting of local olive oils and wines.

3 Day Workshop from 400 Euro

(One day abbreviated version without shopping or gathering available for day trippers.)

"Thank you for putting the cooking class together as it too was a marvellous
experience.  Visitors to the island are probably much like we are as they
enjoy having something a bit unusual planned for them that they can participate
in.   And Eddy and his friends were a delight."  John H., Sacramento, Ca.

100% of our participants say the cooking class and dinner was the highlight of their Greece journey.

Please email us with your potential dates and accommodation preferences and we will respond with more details and an exact price quote.

Karin and I enjoy reading about a destination before our journey.

We find that we get more from the experience by knowing something about the area and it's history.

Know Before You Go!

For North American residents we highly recommend our favorite big book store, Powell's.

For Europe and the rest of the world you can't go wrong with Amazon.
